1948-1954 (80”) Fuel Tank

Manufactured to original form in 1.2mm (20swg) high quality, laser profiled aluminium coated steel, precision seam welded and finished in the latest highly durable rust-proofing ‘e’ coat.

The fuel filler is affixed to the top of tank along with machined flanges for the fuel pick up and fuel contents sensor. The fuel drain is fastened to the bottom of the tank as original.

The bottom “bash” plate is folded from 2mm (14swg) rustproofed steel. This can be permanently fixed to the tank or left separate to allow rust proofing protection between the bottom of the tank and the plate (recommended).
