For the Series 1 Land Rover (also early Rover saloon vehicles) with IOE engines, the cooling water pipe - 217272 is a direct replacement, with the tube and mounting bracket welded together as an assembly. For added durability both inside & out is E-Coated for extra corrosion protection. A variant with the heater pipe coupling 277509 is also available     

The pipe fits directly to the engine water pump aperture and timing cover using the original fixing screws.
